Once we perform a "SMOG TEST" on your vehicle, the information is sent to the DMV and kept in your vehicle's records as a "Failed Emmissions Test".
A "PRE-TEST" allows us to perform the exact same test without sending the information to the DMV, enabling you to make the necessary repairs or adjustments to the vehicle before performing a "SMOG TEST".
